Nigerian comedian Godwin Komone popularly known as Gordons' mother has tied the knot at the age of 72.

The Delta State-born comedian took to his Instagram page on Sunday, November 7, 2021, where he shared a photo from the wedding ceremony.

"My mother got married yesterday at the age of 72. Don't tell me true love doesn't exist. Congratulations mama," he captioned the photo.

Gordons is a Nigerian comedian and singer. After a few years in the gospel music industry, he had his comedy big break in 2005.

He has since gone on to become one of the most sought-after comedians in the country.

Nigerians Drag Taaooma On Instagram For Visiting VP Yemi Osibanjo With Some IG Comedians

Nigerian comedian Apaokagi Maryam popularly known as Taaooma has reacted after she was called out for visiting the vice president of Nigeria, Yemi Osibanjo with some Instagram comedians.

The IG comedian receives the wrath of Nigerians for visiting the VP with her colleagues.

In a lengthy post shared via her Instagram page on Thursday, November 4, 2021, the comedian explained the reason behind her visit to the nation's number 2 man.

"Yesterday, I had the chance of meeting with the VP of the federation at the Presidential villa, Abuja. I urged for the “actual” lifting of the Twitter ban and as well, stressed on the issue of police brutality which hasn’t gotten any bit of change even after all the promises," she wrote.

"I made the presidency understand how important Twitter is for the majority of us (the youths). The SMEs and the very plenty others who make a living via that platform. The Twitter ban has made so many small scale business crash and disrupted many."

The IG comedian also revealed that she stressed the continuous police brutality experienced by young Nigerians.

"I also made it known to the VP that Police brutality hasn’t stopped and we the youths seem to be the target of that institution. #Endsars was not just to end SARS alone, it was to end all forms of police brutality and irresponsibility," she added.

"I hope the assurances I got yesterday will take effect immediately. However guys, we must know that we the youth make 70% of the population and we have the future in our hands. The next step now is to GET YOUR PVC!!! #ENDSARS #ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY #LIFTTWITTERBAN ✊"

Taaooma's long post didn't sit well with many as she was called out by her followers for visiting the VP.

It would be recalled that Taaooma and some Instagram skit makers paid a courtesy visit to the vice president, Yemi Osibanjo.

American actor Chris Evans will be named the sexiest man alive for the year 2021. 

The actor will be unveiled on the cover of People next week.

The 'Captain America' star will cover the coveted front page of People Magazine.

According to PageSix, Evans was lined up for the title last year but had to sit it out after he accidentally shared a photo of his penis on Instagram.

The 40-year-old actor will be unveiled on the cover of People next week.

Back in 2020 actor, Michael B. Jordon was crowned the sexiest man alive, however, PageSix revealed that Evans was dropped because of the Instagram incident.

In September 2020, Evans appeared to accidentally upload nude photos of himself while attempting to post an Instagram video.

He quickly deleted the image, but it was ultimately too late as screenshots were posted to Twitter, sending fans into a frenzy.

This year's award will hold on November 20, 2021 at the Apollo Theatre, and it will be hosted by Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell.

On November 2, 2021, Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, bagged five nominations at the 2021 Soul Train Awards. His partner-in-Essence, Tems also bagged four.

Wizkid's and Tems' nominations come in the Song of The Year, Video of The Year, The Ashford and Simpson songwriter’s award and Best Collaboration for the groundbreaking single, 'Essence'. 

Wizkid then bags a nomination for Album of The Year, for Made in Lagos,  while Tems bags another nomination for Best New Artist.

It's been a stellar year for both artists. Wizkid has coasted with his fourth album while Tems has also featured on a Drake record.
