Nollywood star Williams Uchembah and his wife are overjoyed to announce the arrival of their second child. The proud father shared his excitement with fans through a heartfelt Instagram post.

In his post, Uchembah wrote, “My good gift is here; my baby is here; meet Ethan Chidubem Uchembah. Date of Birth: 9-12-2024,” accompanied by a video that captures the joyous gender reveal and the tender moment he met his wife and their newborn at the hospital.

At the time his wife went into labor, Uchembah was in Enugu State. Upon receiving the news, he immediately dropped everything and flew to London to support her during this special time.

The touching video also features their daughter lovingly holding her new sibling, highlighting the family's happiness. Uchembah confirmed that their son was born on December 9, 2024. This newest addition marks the couple’s second child, following the birth of their first in 2022.

Veteran singer Eldee The Don has opened up about his pivotal role in the early career of Grammy-winning artist Wizkid. During an appearance on the Adesope Live show, Eldee revealed that he was the one who encouraged Wizkid to embrace Afrobeats.

At the time Wizkid was signed to the EME record label, he was leaning more towards reggae and dancehall music. However, Eldee advised him to explore a sound with strong Nigerian influences. "Wizkid was leaning towards Reggae and Dancehall when Banky W signed him before he dropped his first single, but I told him he needed to find a middle ground and create something distinctly Nigerian with a lot of flavor," Eldee shared.

Taking Eldee's advice to heart, Wizkid switched to making Afropop hits, including his breakthrough song "Don’t Dull," which helped him gain widespread recognition.

Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, has raised concerns about the declining trust in the government. He lamented that instead of relying on government institutions, citizens are now seeking justice through individuals like activist VeryDarkMan.

On his X handle, Skales shared his frustration, writing, “It’s crazy what is going on in Nigeria… imagine a situation where citizens can’t turn to the government but have to go to a fellow citizen like VDM for help… smh!! God bless and protect him, though.”

This shift has been more noticeable recently, with an increasing number of Nigerians turning to activists like VeryDarkMan for support and justice.
