According to a California judge, Kim Kardashian is now single.
Kardashian's desire to dissolve her marriage before her divorce from Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was finalized was granted at a court hearing on Wednesday, according to Entertainment Tonight.
According to ET, she will no longer use her ex-surname husband's and will be known as Kim Kardashian.
This new ruling does not mean her divorce with Ye is final, just that her marital status is now legally "single."
In a statement obtained on Wednesday, Ye's lawyer, Samantha Spector, said in part that the rapper-entrepreneur "was always in support of the divorce."
"Ye is focusing his entire attention to their children," the statement continued, in part.
