Kourtney Kardashian Changes Last Name To ‘Barker’ On Instagram

Kourtney Kardashian officially changed her last name on Instagram Monday – after marrying Travis Barker in a lavish Italian wedding ceremony over the weekend.

The reality star’s bio now reads: “Kourtney Kardashian Barker ❤️‍🔥.”

It remains uncertain if she has changed her name legally or if she plans to in the near future. Kardashian’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The Poosh creator has kept her original handle, @kourtneykardash, for the time being, though.

Kardashian, 43, and Barker, 46, said “I do” during a fairytale wedding celebration at Castello Brown on Sunday, one week after they got legally married in Santa Barbara, Calif.

This is Kourtney's first marriage and Baker's third attempt at marriage.

Kardashian and Barker got engaged during a beachfront proposal in October 2021 after dating for about nine months.

Kourtney has three children with ex Scott Disick, and Barker shares two kids with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

The singer took to his Twitter page on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, where he promised to support the singer turned politician.

"Congrats @BankyW! You have my support! Don’t sit at home and complain get up and make a change," he tweeted.

Banky W won the ticket to represent Eti-Osa federal constituency in the house of representatives under the PDP.

The primaries took place on Monday, May 23.

The music star scored twenty-eight votes to defeat his opponent who scored three votes.

The music star announced that he'll be running for the House of Reps seat back in April.

"We must engage with Nigeria where it is, not where we prefer for it to be. In 2019, we planted the seed. In 2023, by the grace of God, and with your support, we will win the seat. The time for just talking is over. It's time to #TalkAndDo. I hope I can count on you. We move," he tweeted at that time.

Banky W first announced his decision to run for the house of representatives back in November 2018.

The news was largely received by both fans and industry colleagues.

He however lost the elections to Ibrahim Obanikoro of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
