Ada Ameh Laments- ‘I Have Mental Health Issues And It Is Taking My Life’

Ada Ameh a Nollywood actress who has been in the industry for almost 3 decades reveals that she has mental issues and these issues are taking her life.

The 48 year old actress did not specify what these issues are but she went on to post on her Instagram page on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. She mentioned in the post saying:

""Everything is going to be fine. I have an issue right now and it is taking my life. I nor go die. We will get over it, we will get over it. I was given a job and I didn't do the job because I had mental issues," 

"Would people understand when you say you have mental issues? They won't. They are slamming me with a bill, suing me, it's okay."

The Actress further assured her fans that everything will be alright and as always she will come out better and strong.

Major artist and Actors in the industry went on in the comment section to show love and encourage her.

Tems Diagnosed With Vocal Cord Illness; Cancels UK Shows

Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems has been diagnosed with vocal cord illness known as Reflux Laryngitis, has cancelled two UK shows due to the vocal cord illness.

Tems made the public aware of this sad development with her voice via her Instagram and  Twitter page, explaining the reason behind the cancellation of the two shows.

This announcement is coming days after Canadian singer Justin Bieber also announced that he was taking a break from music after being diagnosed with a rare illness.

Tems’ diagnosis Reflux laryngitis is a voice disorder that results from irritation and swelling of the vocal folds due to the backflow of stomach fluids into the throat. This backflow is called laryngopharyngeal reflux (acid that reaches the level of the throat). Stomach fluids contain acids and enzymes that help digest food in the stomach, but cause problems elsewhere in the food pipe [esophagus, throat, and voice box]. This usually happens at night when you’re asleep.

Tems who recently joined other international celebrities for the new Coca-Cola “Real Magic” campaign.  Tems also is one of the leading acts of afropop's second wave.  Earlier this month, The face cover star became the first Nigerian Artist to reach number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, courtesy of her contributions to Future’s track Wait For U.

Tems, who featured on the single alongside Canadian rapper Drake, received her second U.S. certification in one year of her career.

In the United States, platinum certification means that an album has sold 1 million copies or that a single has sold 2 million copies.

Tems received her first Platinum plaque in October 2021 when ‘Essence’ crossed the one million sales mark. After gaining international recognition and a Grammy nomination for “Essence”, Tems has been featured on the albums of global superstars like Drake and Future.

Tems got nominated in three categories for the 2022 edition of BET Awards for ‘Best New Artist’,’ ‘Best International Act,’ and ‘Best Collaboration categories.

Why I Fought Mercy Aigbe In Public – Larrit

Discussions on the incident involving the actress Mercy Aigbe and the entrepreneur Lara Olukotun, alias Larrit, at a recent event in Lagos, Nigeria, are trending on social media.

Aigbe remarked that she had responded as a result of Olukotun's persistent cyberbullying and physical assault, notwithstanding her assertion that she had been attacked without provocation.

As a result of Mercy Aigbe's attitude in her marriage to movie marketer Kazim Adeoti, Olukotun stated in an Instagram post on Tuesday that she had problems with the actress.

The entrepreneur stated that Aigbe had publicly criticized the actress because she had dared Adeoti's first wife.

Following her marriage to Adeoti, Olukotun criticized Aigbe for having the "audacity to insult, show off, and portray different indirect signs."

“You daring the other woman on what can she do and calling yourself ‘Aya d owner’ – the husband that belongs to another woman that has four kids for the same man you married – is what I stand stood against.

“If that is my crime to have offended some people, I say it here publicly that I’m not sorry,” the businesswoman said.

Aigbe was also charged with "always behaving like a victim to the public and exposing your wicked aspect behind closed doors," according to the accuser.

"Anybody may purchase your drama. Don't play with me, Olukotun scolded Aigbe, "that's none of your concern.

After the footage of their public altercation went viral on social media on Monday, Mercy Aigbe and the businesswoman have been trading blows.

Obinna Iyiegbu, often known as Obi Cubana, is a well-known businessman who is now enjoying his 14th wedding anniversary with his wife Ebele.

On Tuesday, the couple posted a new declaration of love on each other's Instagram accounts.

It's been 14 joyful years of living my life with you, baby M!, the Cubana Group chairman captioned a video of the couple kissing. We wish you a happy anniversary!

Ebele also shared glitzy photos of herself with Cubana and chose to write a lengthy love letter in which she praised her "hero in shining armor" and the "monarch to her heart."

“I still can’t figure out how we keep getting it right but all I know is that God is massively involved and I can’t stop thanking him for how far he’s brought us,” she wrote in the caption.
 
She added, “I thank him for giving us the grace we need to make this union work. It is not us, but the spirit of God at work in us, just being able to allow Him to have his way with us.

“14 years ago, we started this journey in love yet unsure of the future. 14 years later, we are still on this journey recording great success. I still get so much joy just loving you and wanting to do this life with you.

“I pray that the God I serve will continually see us through all the years of our marriage because we made him our firm foundation. I do not and will never take the grace of God in this marriage for granted.

“Thank you for making it easier for me to love you. I know sometimes you get me upset but then again, we still have our way of sorting it all out without shouting and getting at each other’s throat. That is grace! Today, I reaffirm my love for you and my intention to carry on loving you, faults and all. May God continue to give me the grace to keep loving you and being your help meet.”

Iyiegbu got married to Ebele in 2008. Their marriage is blessed with four sons.
