BBNaija Host Ebuka’s Wife, Cynthia, Expresses Wish for a Son

Cynthia, wife of Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has shared her desire for a son as their third child. Cynthia and Ebuka, who married in February 2016, are parents to two daughters, Jeweluchi and Irubinachi.

In an interview on the Mum’s Next Door podcast, Cynthia expressed her wish for a male child. When asked if she still wants another baby, she said, “Yes, I definitely want one more child. I have two girls now, so my prayers will be to have a boy.”

When questioned about Ebuka's opinion on having another child, she responded, “It is my decision, not Ebuka’s decision. My husband initially wanted just one child because he wants to be able to give the child the best. He said school fees and everything else are so expensive, so one is fine. But now, he is obsessed with our children, and I’m sure if we have a third, he will be equally obsessed.”

Rapper Vector To Celebrities: ‘Stop Endorsing Bad Governance’

Popular rapper Vector Tha Viper has called on Nigerian celebrities to stop endorsing bad governance. Over the past few years, more Nigerian celebrities have joined partisan politics or openly supported politicians.

Vector criticized those celebrities who align themselves with political figures, ignoring the struggles of their fans and fellow citizens. He warned that if the current hardship continues, it would eventually affect them as well.

On his X handle, Vector wrote: “To the celebrities taking sides against the reality of their people/fans, it may be best to repent before you become the only reachable option if the hardship doesn’t stop. Stop supporting bad governance.”

His remarks come amidst the ongoing nationwide protests against the severe economic hardship in the country.Top of Form

VeryDarkMan Accuses Wike of Intimidation, Urges Tinubu to Speak to the Nation

Popular social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has accused Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike of attempting to intimidate protesters in Abuja. Speaking just before police deployed tear gas at the Berger Roundabout on Friday, VeryDarkMan called on President Ahmed Tinubu to address the nation amidst the widespread protests.

“Government needs to engage with us, and Tinubu should speak to the public. Wike’s attempts to bully us are unjust,” he stated.

This statement comes as the hunger protest enters its second day in Abuja, Lagos, and other cities across the country. Earlier, an Abuja High Court issued an order limiting protests at the MKO Abiola National Stadium. While Wike urged compliance with the court order, protest leaders claimed they had not received an official copy.
