Tems’ 2020 Song ‘Free Mind’ Debuts On Billboard Hot 100

Tems, an international singing phenomenon from Nigeria, debuted as a solo artist with her song "Free Mind" on the Billboard list in the United States.

Details: The current rage With the release of "Free Mind" as one of the tracks for her EP "For Broken Ears" in 2020, Tems had her first solo appearance on the Billboard list.

'Free Mind' debuted at number 90 in the latest issue of Billboard Hot 100 and it's her first solo entry on the charts.

Incase you do not know, what this means for Tems With the release of "Free Mind," is that Tems joins a select group of Nigerian artists who have charted four singles on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100.

She obtained her prior entries with cameos on Future's number one single "Wait For U," Wizkid's "Essence," and Drake's "Fountain."

Tems and Wizkid, who previously held the record with Drake's worldwide hit "One Dance," Beyonce's "Black Skin Girl," Chris Brown's "Call Me Everyday," and hit single "Essence," are now tied.

On 31 March 2022, Apple Music 1 Launched Leading Vibe Radio Show With Tems. On 2 April, its first episode features appearance from Muyiwa Awoniyi, and Tunji Balogun. On 29 April 2022, she was featured alongside Drake on American rapper Future's single, "Wait for U", from the latter's ninth studio album, I never liked you

The song debuted atop the Hot 100, making Tems the first African female artist to top the chart and more so debut atop the chart. The song samples the song "Higher" from For Broken Ears.
