"You are such liars. Of what benefit is it to the people when you take my words out of context like this? I said I’m too angry at my age to be obedient. Expressing I do not like the ‘term’ But if Peter Obi wins and actually changes the country better for all of us," he tweeted.

Numerous celebrities have publicly chosen a candidate since the presidential campaign season got underway.

Some have set up camp with Obi, who has gained a lot of support from young voters.

Okey Bakassi is one famous person who has spoken out a lot on the impending elections.

"Fixing Nigeria is more important to me now than any money any politician has to offer. If Nigeria becomes safe and economically stable, people like me will make money from safely using our talent across the country...like we used to. #letsfixNigeria," he tweeted.

Bakassi also said he wouldn't be listening to haters who have been shaming him on social media for his political views.

The comedian has never concealed his displeasure with the way the present leadership has run the country's affairs.

Bakassi claimed that up until the election of Buhari, his passion for the nation was unadulterated.

"I lost my "virginity" under Buhari's administration...yes!...my love for Nigerian was pure and unbroken until Buhari happened to us in 2015. I can't recognise my beloved country anymore," he tweeted.

Davido’s ‘Fall’ Re-Enters Billboard Chart After Performance At Travis Scott’s Concert

On the list for August 13, 2022, Davido's global song "Fall" has returned to the Billboard Afrobeats Songs Chart.

Davido's 2017 blockbuster track "Fall" has reentered the Billboard Afrobeats Song Chart following his electrifying performance at Travis Scott's London O2 event on Saturday, August 6, 2022.

'Fall' re-entered the chart at 50th place. Before its re-entry, 'Fall' reached a peaked at 18th position and spent a total of 18 weeks on the charts.

Its re-entry can be credited to the nostalgia the song drew from the audience at the O2 show.

A reminder of its widespread appeal: Of all the songs released by Davido in 2017, "FALL" was the one that gained the most recognition outside of Nigeria. It was a part of the monster smashes "IF," "FIA," and "Like Dat."

'FALL' was a tremendous hit in the US, the UK, and other European nations where it introduced Afrobeats to a new audience. It has gained more than 500,000 copies in sales in the United States, where it is Gold certified.

Its re-entry into the rankings following Davido's appearance at one of the top American musicians' London concert is evidence of its appeal. It remains to be seen if the re-entry will encourage it to make another run in the US.
