Soludo Dumps Peter Obi, Reveals Preferred Presidential Candidate

Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo has confirmed his support for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) presidential candidate, Justice Peter Umeadi.

The governor slammed the Labour Party presidential candidate and ex-Anambra state governor, Peter Obi, by claiming that the Obidient Movement is a spinoff of the Peoples Democratic Party.

APGA is Nigeria's third largest political party, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Dr Alex Obiogbolu, the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Soludo, who feels that the major opposition party was unjust to the Southeast by zoning its president to the north, believes that backing any other party might harm APGA's prospects in the 2023 general election.

APGA remains the third largest political party in Nigeria, considering the number of political offices it has won.

“APGA has a State governor, members of the National Assembly and members of the state assemblies.

“APGA does not consider the wave of the ‘Obidient Movement’ as a threat towards achieving its set goals in 2023.

“The LP and the ‘Obidient Movement’ are offshoots of the PDP. Therefore, they pose a big threat to PDP, not APGA”.

Soludo, who won the Anambra governorship election in November, 2021, contested under the platform of APGA.

American TV host, Nick Cannon, Welcomes 11th Child

Nick Cannon, an American television star, has had his 11th kid, Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon.

Cannon announced the birth of his baby with disc jockey Abbey De La Rosa on his Instagram account on Saturday.

The couple previously had twins, Zion and Zillion, in June 2021.

Cannon thanked the DJ for her "care, words of affirmation, kindness, and inspiration," describing her as a "loving and spiritually-inclined mother."

“11/11/2022, a beautiful day for ‘Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon’ to arrive!,” the excited father wrote on his Instagram page.

He added, “Mummy @hiabbydelarosa, you make it look so easy and effortless but I am forever indebted to your tireless work of constant dedication, diligent effort, and selfless love that you give to our children and myself.

“Beautiful is privileged to have such a loving and spiritually-inclined mother. Your resilience and strength doesn’t go unnoticed.

“Watching you smile through the world’s madness and my constant craziness is so impressive.

“Not a day goes by that I am not filled with gratitude for all your care, words of affirmation, kindness and inspiration. Thank you!

“You are the definition of steadfast and virtuous and it is my continued duty to make you and our children feel valued and protected every single day!”

Cannon and model LaNisha Cole had a daughter, Onyx Ice Cole, in September.

Monroe and Moroccan, 11, are twins shared by the Masked Singer presenter and his ex, Mariah Carey.

Britney Bell, a model, is the mother of his three children: Rise Messiah, a seven-week-old, Golden Sagon, a five-year-old, and Powerful Queen, a 22-month-old.

Bell is also pregnant with their fourth child.

Legendary, Cannon's son with Bre Tiesi, was born in January 2022.

Unfortunately, Zen, his son with Alyssa Scott, died at the age of five months in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

‘I Make All Types Of Music. There’s Nothing I Can’t Make,’ Wizkid Says On The Dotty Show

Wizkid, the Nigerian megastar, appeared on Apple Music's The Dotty Show to discuss his new album 'More Love, Less Ego,' as well as his Apple Music Live performance.

The live version of Wizkid's 'More Love, Less Ego' is slated to be exclusively accessible on Apple Music starting November 14th, 2022, and the megastar is overjoyed. Wizkid comments on his performance:

"This is very important to me, you know because I don't usually do this, so it is very rare and important that I do this, especially for this album, you know? You, understand it probably after you listen to the album; you get it. But, it's going to be fun, and I didn't want to say much, you know? It's like I'm gassing my tin.... this is, this is, like, one of my biggest dreams, to actually come to watch a Wizkid show like this, but I can’t."

On what his fans should expect from the performance, Wizkid says he wants them to feel a lot of love.

"A lotta love. A lotta love in your heart. That's what I want you to feel."

On his latest album 'More Love, Less Ego' Wizkid shares that it is a documentation of his growth since he released the hugely successful 'Made in Lagos'.

"It's part of my life, man. It's like a progression, you know? The last one was made in Lagos; that's where I'm from. You already know where I'm from though, and that one's just to show you where, what the world needs actually, at this time, right now at this moment, is a whole lotta love. I, I have a lotta love (laughs)."

For Wizkid, it's all about the love that surrounds him and he wants to celebrate this love and share it with the world.

"I have four kids, man. When my son kisses me at night, like, "Goodnight," or, like, you know, when he's going to school or, like, you know, that's, that fills my heart. You can't even buy that type of love, you know? That's all that matters. Like, this is pretty much all I live for. My kids' happiness, me taking care of people close to me, you know, my friends, like, s- spreading a lotta love, man, just doing what I do best by making amazing music. That is, like, the most important thing to me in my life. Absolutely More Love, Less Ego, man. Everyone needs it, especially right now. And this war in Ukraine, man, 2022, right before our eyes. They are bombing people right now in Africa. It's crazy. This is the album that helps too."

Wizkid's known for being able to explore different sounds within being and this creative freedom is what he wants to deliver in his new album.

"I make all types of music. There's nothing I can't make. I don't put myself in a box. I'm a musician from Africa, but first things first, I'm a musician. If you put in work, there's no way you're gonna lose. I wanna show the kids from back home there's nothing you can't do."

Wizkid is one of Africa's foremost music exports and his music has made him an ambassador for the continent as he continues to spread Nigerian and African music across the globe. Wizkid understands the weight on his shoulders and he intends to take African sound to the highest levels.

"I would just be lying if I said I don't, but absolutely, yeah, man. You know, I'm trying as much as possible to be, to take this substance to the highest of the highest heights. I wanna show the kids from back home, there's nothing you can't do, right? If I can do it from Surulere, trust me, anybody can actually do it."

Wizkid believes the world could use a bit more love and less ego and this is what motivated his latest album.

"More Love, Less Ego, man. What the world needs actually at this time, right now at this moment, is a whole lotta love."

'More Love, Less Ego' was released on 11th November 2022 and it's Wizkid's 5th album in what has been an illustrious career.
