Wizkid Announces Dates For ‘More Love, Less Ego’ North America Tour

Wizkid, the Nigerian Afrobeats megastar, has revealed the dates for his North American 'More Love, Less Ego' tour in 2023.

Wizkid released his fifth studio album, 'More Love, Less Ego,' on November 11, 2022, with 13 songs and guest features from Ayra Starr, Skillibeng, Shenseea, Naira Marley, and Skepta. The album, which was preceded by the songs 'Bad To Me' and 'Money and Love,' was well welcomed by reviewers, who described it as retaining the key features of his immensely popular album 'Made In Lagos.'

Wizkid is ready to go on a North American tour in which he will play songs from his new album in numerous locations.

The tour will begin on March 3rd in Houston, Texas and will end on April 7th, 2022 in Los Angeles, California.

 

Wizkid is one of the world's top performers, having headlined various festivals and attracting thousands of fans during his concerts. He sold out London's 20,000-capacity 02 Arena three days in a row in 2021.

He most recently amazed spectators on November 16th, 2022 at the legendary Madison Square Garden. Fans in North America will be excited to see the multi-award-winning megastar perform in their city.

On Wednesday, November 16, the bride's house in Owerri, Imo State, hosted the wedding ceremony.

Rejoice Iwueze, the lead singer of Destined Kids, excitedly uploaded images of herself and her hubby donning traditional attires on social media yesterday, November 16, as their traditional wedding ceremony took place.

On September 9, the former child star announced her engagement to her boyfriend. At the time, Rejoice posted photos of herself wearing her engagement ring and wrote, "You Brighten My World In Million Ways and I'm Blessed To Call You "MINE", I Said "YES" To Forever."

She mentioned in her social media postings that yesterday's traditional wedding ceremony signified a new phase, sunrise, level, and chapter in her life. She also expressed her delight at doing everything with her boyfriend. Samuel, her husband, is a currency expert, farmer, and data analyst.

"It's a new phase, a new dawn, a new level, a new chapter." This next level is absolutely boiling in my heart, and I'm beyond thrilled to be doing it with you, darling. Let's do it the old-fashioned way today, sweetie."

Joy, Joy, Joy, Rejoice and her brothers Favour, Joshua, Best, Caleb, and Wonderful acquired notoriety with the release of their hit song Joy, Joy, Joy, Rejoice. She is a gospel soloist at the moment.

Comic Actor, Dike Osinachi, Loses Two-Year-Old Son

Dike Osinachi, commonly known as Apama, a Nollywood comedy actor, has lost his two-year-old only son, Jidenna.

Onyebuchi David, Osinachi's manager, verified the news  on Wednesday.

According to David, the child died in the hospital on Tuesday morning from an unidentified illness.

In response to questions about the child's death, David said, "Yes, it's verified. It occurred at the hospital yesterday morning."

David declined to speak more on the matter and instead asked for prayers for the family.

Late Tuesday, Osinachi posted on his Facebook page, saying, "God is still God."

On Wednesday, he also posted a video of a gospel hymn on Instagram with the message, "It's well."

Fans expressed their condolences and offered prayers and support in the comments section.

Onyinye Ibe, a Facebook admirer, said, "Take heart, sir. Everything is OK with you and your family. God is aware of everything. He will not humiliate you since you are a decent person. Keep your cool for the sake of your wife and children. "God will carry you through."

"It's all right, sir," replied another admirer, Miracle Igwe. In Jesus' name, God will bless you with the one who will remain. Amen.”

The comedian has two children with his wife, Prisca.

Tems Bags 3 Nominations For 2023 Grammy Awards

Tems, a Nigerian international sensation, has been nominated for three Grammy Awards in a record-breaking night for Afrobeats.

The nominations for the 2023 Grammy Awards were announced on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022, and Nigerian artist Tems received three nominations, while Burna Boy received two.

Tems' contributions to Future's 'Wait For U' earned her nominations for Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance. She received her third nomination as a featured artist on Beyonce's nominated Album of the Year, 'Renaissance.'

In the Best Rap Song category, ‘Wait For U’ was nominated alongside Churchill Downs (Jack Hallow ft Drake), God did (DJ Khaled ft Jay Z, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne), Pushin P (Gunna and Future ft Young Thug), and the Heart Part 5 (Kendrick Lamar).

Wait for U’  which earned Tems two nominations was released as the second single off Future’s ninth studio album, “I never liked you” released on May 3, 2022, while the official music video was directed by Director X, was released on May 5, 2022.

The 65th Grammy will air live on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from Los Angeles.
