October 21, 2024 Oluwadolarz Reveals Promoter’s Demand for Sex in Exchange for Music Promotion

Oluwadolarz Reveals Promoter’s Demand for Sex in Exchange for Music Promotion

Popular content creator and comedian Olamide Ogunleye, widely known as Oluwadolarz, recently revealed a disturbing encounter with an unnamed figure in the entertainment industry. Taking to Instagram on Sunday night, the Nigerian comedian and singer disclosed that a prominent entertainer offered to promote his music only if he agreed to engage in a sexual act.

Oluwadolarz recounted the shocking exchange, stating that the individual promised to endorse his music and help him top the charts, but only after engaging in inappropriate behavior. He shared the unsettling message: “You will promote my songs. Endorse my music. Help me top chart. But make I first bend over make you enter my Yansh. E.n.k.r sir.”

Although primarily recognized for his comedy, Oluwadolarz has also ventured into music, creating his own versions of trending songs and collaborating with various artists. In 2018, he gained attention for his remake of Olamide Badoo’s hit song "Science Student," which was rumored to have upset the artist. However, Olamide had previously shared Oluwadolarz’s version of his song "Wo" on Instagram, though he didn’t do the same for "Science Student."

In a past interview with Sunday Scoop, Oluwadolarz clarified that he never intended to offend Olamide. “When I did a version of Wo, Olamide shared it on his Instagram page, so I thought he’d like this one too. Before I was told he was unhappy with my interpretation, I had the feeling too. But when we met at a video shoot, he didn’t mention it and greeted me warmly,” he said.

Oluwadolarz believed that Olamide’s dissatisfaction stemmed from his video revealing certain things hidden in the original song. Acknowledging the anti-drug message in Olamide’s original video, Oluwadolarz noted, “If you watch his video well, you’ll see that he was advocating against the use of drugs.”

In an August 2024 interview, Oluwadolarz shared that, despite his success, he still views himself as an up-and-coming talent. Earlier this year, he collaborated with Smile T on a music single titled “Fuchor Me.”

Ms DSF Denies Rumors of Toke Makinwa’s Secret Marriage to Farouk Umar

Nollywood actress and media personality, Dorcas Shola Fapson, also known as Ms DSF, has addressed the rumors surrounding her colleague Toke Makinwa's alleged secret marriage to longtime rumored partner, Farouk Umar.

Speculation began circulating on Sunday after photos of Makinwa and Umar at an event, which Ms DSF referred to as a “thanksgiving” ceremony, went viral. Ms DSF further fueled the rumors by hinting on social media that the two were getting married.

However, in a video shared on her social media page, Ms DSF clarified that her earlier comment was simply a joke. She explained that the event was not a wedding but a Thanksgiving ceremony in celebration of Makinwa’s upcoming birthday.

"Bloggers, please, I was just joking. Toke and Farouk are not getting married. It was just a Thanksgiving for her birthday," Ms DSF said, captioning the video, “I play too much and bloggers eat sh*t too fast.”

Toke Makinwa, who was previously married to businessman Maje Ayida in 2014, saw her marriage end in 2017. Despite the recent rumors, there has been no confirmation of any wedding plans with Farouk Umar.

In a recent interview with media personality Hero Daniels, Kellyrae explained that the constant demands have become overwhelming. He urged those seeking financial favors to give him time to settle.

"I started receiving calls from people close to us after I mentioned giving Kassia N55 million, and they were asking for their share of my prize money," Kellyrae said.

He continued, "I just want to say to everyone, I’m not rich yet, please. The money may seem big, but things are expensive. Even buying eggs—how many crates can I afford? Please, allow a brother to settle first."

Actress Lizzy Anjorin Cleared of Gold Theft Allegation by Police

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that no case of theft was established against Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin-Lawal, who was accused of stealing gold at the Oba Akintoye Market in Lagos Island. Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin provided an update, clarifying that the accusations stemmed from a misunderstanding rather than theft.

According to Hundeyin, the investigation revealed that the incident was caused by an error in the account number provided by the seller. Out of the 10 digits required, one was incorrect, leading to a failed transfer by Anjorin-Lawal. "There was no case of stealing to begin with," Hundeyin said. "Our investigation showed that Lizzy Anjorin-Lawal transferred the money to the wrong account due to a mistake made by the seller. Once this error was discovered, she made a second transfer to the correct account, even though the initial mistake wasn't her fault."

In a viral video, Anjorin-Lawal was seen being accused of theft by traders, but the police investigation concluded that the claims were made in error. Despite being assaulted during the incident, Anjorin-Lawal later decided to withdraw the case after the suspects were arrested and the matter had gone to court.

Hundeyin further confirmed that the traders involved admitted to their mistake in their statements at the police station. Anjorin-Lawal, who had initially transferred N90,000 to the wrong account, provided a receipt as proof. In an effort to resolve the issue, she transferred the money again to the correct account.

In February 2024, six traders—Qudus Jokogbola, Suru Olawale, Edu Shakirat, Fausat Mohammed, Kafayat Ahmed, and Opere Simiat Morenike—were arrested and arraigned before a Chief Magistrate Court in Lagos Island for allegedly assaulting and blackmailing Anjorin-Lawal during the incident. Two other suspects remain at large. The prosecution accused the defendants of conspiring to assault Anjorin-Lawal, causing her physical harm, and disturbing public peace.

The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges, and their lawyer Ade Oshodi requested bail, emphasizing that they were local traders. The court granted bail at N200,000 each, with one surety who must be a Lagos resident with evidence of tax payment. The defendants were remanded in custody until their bail terms were met.
