Former Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, alongside former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai and ex-Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal, visited former President Muhammadu Buhari at his Kaduna home on Friday. The delegation also included notable figures like former Communications Minister Isa Pantami, former Imo State Governor Achike Udenwa, ex-Benue State Governor Senator Gabriel Suswam, and former Adamawa State Governor Jibrilla Bindow, among others, as seen in a video circulating on X.
Atiku, sharing details on his verified X account, described the visit as a “wonderful time” with Buhari. He noted, “As Waziri Adamawa, I was engaged in Sallah celebrations in Adamawa, representing the Lamido Fombina. Today, I had the chance to pay a post-Sallah visit to His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, President of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023. His unique humor had me laughing so hard my ribs ached.”
The former Vice President did not reveal the purpose or outcomes of the meeting.
