The All Progressives Congress has accorded recognition to the Progressive Consolidation Group, a group backing Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo to succeed President Buhari in 2023.

In a letter to the group, Abubakar Suileman, APC director, administration, said Mai Mala Buni, chairman of the caretaker committee, recognized the PCG as a “support group” of the party.

Speaking with journalists in Abuja, Bala Gide, PCG’s head, said Osinbajo will build on the success of Buhari, if elected.
