The Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has bowed to pressure and rescheduled the party’s National Convention for March 26 in Abuja.
The decision to this effect was reached at the 20th regular meeting of the caretaker committee.
Addressing the newsmen after the meeting that lasted almost three hours, the Secretary of the CECPC, Senator JOHN Akpanudoedehe said the change of date is to enable the party to organize zonal congresses across the six
geo-political zones on March 12.
