Former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) General Secretary, Barr Musa Amadu yesterday unveiled his robust plans that will give quality attention to welfare of players as the fulcrum of his presidency.
He however said that his past experiences would help him to build the future, while hoping that he would work with elderly stakeholders to change the fortunes of football in the country.
Amadi made this known when he declared yesterday in Abuja to contest the position of the federation’s president.
He also pointed out that the NFF relationship with the government is key: “That is enough now. We are partners. Government cares for the people. NFF cares for the people through football.
We will maintain partnership and create an NFF/Government Liaison structure that is workable, as has been working in many countries I have had the opportunity to visit and understudy. It is not rocket science. We just need to get it right!
