Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, has said political leaders at all levels in Nigeria owe the citizens a duty to stern the tide of insecurity in the country rather just talking and making promises.

Senator Lawan was quoted to have made the remarks at the 60th birthday celebration of Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State, on Monday.

According to the Senate President, all leaders in the country must, as a matter of urgency, come together to ensure that the security and welfare needs of the people are adequately met.
