Renowned Yoruba actress Bisola Badmus has candidly shared her struggle with a brain disease known as Encephalopathy, a condition that affects mental state, leading to confusion and alterations in behaviour.
The revelation came during the actress's birthday celebration, as she opened up about battling this illness for over a year.
In a heartfelt post on her Instagram page, Badmus expressed the challenges she faced, stating, "Over a year now, I have been battling with health issues (Encephalopathy). I cannot even wish my enemy such illness. It was a tough one indeed that made me stay away from social media."
Acknowledging the difficulty of the journey, she revealed that she also experienced the loss of her beloved mother during this period. Despite the hardships, Badmus expressed gratitude to the unquestionable providence that allowed her to witness another birthday.
