Nigeria has hit 10,000 mark of COVID-19 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control last night announced new 307 cases in 14 states and the FCT.
The latest cases bring the total infections in the country to 10,162.
Breakdown of the new cases from the NCDC showed that Lagos accounted for the highest number with 188 cases, followed by the FCT-44, Ogun-19, Kaduna-14. Oyo-12, Bayelsa-9, Gombe-5, Kano and Delta with 3 fresh cases, Imo, Rivers, Niger and Bauchi states recorded 2 new cases while Plateau and Kwara had 1 new case each.
So far the nation had discharged: 3, 007 people from isolation centres nationwide while deaths rose to 287.
