Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho, has appealed to striking doctors in the state to return to work.
Omotosho said the controversy that led to the sit-at-home industrial action had been resolved before the doctors embarked on strike.
The Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, Lagos branch, on Wednesday, directed its members to embark on an indefinite sit-at-home strike, over alleged harassment and intimidation of medical workers by security agents in the state.
