Seven more Coronavirus patients have been discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, Lagos.

Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU, who shared the news on his social media handles, said the patients are one female and six males.

It brings the total number of discharged patients in Lagos to 39.

Governor SANWOLU also revealed that officials from the state ministry of health will visit homes and health centres, to administer electronic questionnaire, as they intensify efforts to search for possible cases of COVID-19 infections.

Lagos Commissioner for Health, Professor AKIN ABAYOMI while speaking at the state’s first inter-ministerial briefing on Covid-19, said the state’s capability to conduct tests has improved.

Professor ABAYOMI also said the state government is focusing on intercepting cross-border incursions of youths returning from neighbourhood countries.
