President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 10.59 Naira trillion 2020 Appropriation Bill into law.

The Senate and the House of Representatives both passed the 2020 budget with a significant increase.

The President proposed 10.33billion Naira while the Appropriations committees on both chambers recommended 10.59billion Naira.

President Buhari commended the harmonious relationship between the executive and the legislature.

Former President, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Professor Segun Ajibola urged the National Assembly to be up and doing in carrying out their oversight functions for full implementation of the budget.
