The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has summoned the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, ABUBAKAR MALAMI as well as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over plans to seize properties belonging to the former governor of Zamfara State, ABDULAZIZ YARI.

Justice NKEONYE MAHA, made the call after listening to the arguments canvassed in a motion exparte by counsel to YARI, MAHMUD MAGAJI (SAN), then adjourned the matter till August 30.

The defendants are to give reason why the court should not restrain them from among other actions, freezing the bank accounts and or confiscating his immovable property anywhere in Nigeria, pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit.

Justice MAHA equally ordered that the respondents be served with the court processes within 48.
