Human rights lawyer, FEMI FALANA has expressed disappointment that the convener of #RevolutionNow protests, OMOYELE SOWORE, has not been arraigned four days after his arrest.
The Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress in the February 2019 elections was arrested in the early hours of Saturday by operatives of the Department of State Services in a hotel in Lagos.
Speaking on the development, FALANA said he expected SOWORE to have been arraigned on Monday because, by law, a suspect should not be kept in detention without arraignment within 48 hours of arrest.
