February 21, 2025 Portable Vows to Stay Out of Trouble After ₦2M Bail

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has promised to change his ways after being granted bail.

The Zazu crooner was released on a ₦2 million bail by an Ogun State Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, on Thursday. He was arraigned by the Ogun State police command for allegedly assaulting three officials from the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).

Portable pleaded not guilty to a five-count charge, including conspiracy, assault, possession of weapons, and unruly conduct. Following his release, he took to social media to assure fans that he would focus on making money rather than causing trouble.

“Thank God for everything. If you have God, you have everything,” Portable said in a video message. “I need money. I am not looking for trouble anymore. I’m now focused on making money. I have a ₦2 million bail debt. I need more money.”

The singer’s vow to stay out of trouble comes after a series of controversies that have kept him in the headlines.
