Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle and his assistant, Hedi Taboubi, have been making rounds in Europe to check on key players ahead of Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The West African giants are set to face Rwanda and Zimbabwe next month as they continue their qualification campaign.
On Friday night, Chelle and Taboubi were at Stade de la Beaujoire to watch Moses Simon in action for Nantes during their Ligue 1 clash against Brest. The winger played for 68 minutes in a match that ended in a 2-0 defeat for Nantes.
Earlier in the week, the coaching duo visited England-based stars Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi as part of their preparations. More visits to players at their respective clubs are expected in the coming days.
The Super Eagles will take on Rwanda at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday, March 21, for their matchday five fixture. Four days later, they will host Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
