Tolu Arokodare has hinted at a possible departure from Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk next summer.

The 24-year-old striker, who came close to leaving the Smurfs last summer but was convinced to remain, has recently been linked with a move to the English Premier League.

Speaking to HLN, Arokodare reflected on his current form and future prospects.
“It’s my moment now, and I’m happy with how things are going. Next year, it might be another striker, and then no one will be talking about me. That’s life and football too,” he said.

He expressed satisfaction with his tally of nine goals this season but admitted there’s room for improvement.
“Nine goals is a number I’m happy with, although I think I can do better. Tzolis scored four in one match, so I could probably score more often,” he added.

Arokodare has been in fine form this season, netting nine goals in 15 league appearances for Genk, fueling speculation about a potential big move in the near future.
