Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has praised the remarkable contributions of Nigerians and Africans globally, particularly in medicine and the creative arts.
Speaking during an appearance on the Afric TV program, Davido highlighted the intellectual brilliance and creative prowess of Africans, emphasizing their influence in various industries worldwide.
"The best doctors in America are Nigerians. You can look it up," he said. "Even within my record label [Sony Music], Africans come up with the best ideas. It shows that our imagination is unparalleled."
Davido also noted the growing recognition of African storytelling in global entertainment, pointing out that major platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime increasingly look to Africa for fresh movie ideas.
"Now, when you check Netflix, you’ll often see two Nigerian movies in the top 10. Africa is next, trust me. We have everything, we’re just missing a few things," he added.
