President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly preparing to sign an executive order that would remove all transgender individuals from the U.S. military, a move that has sparked concerns within the LGBTQ+ community.

The decision comes amid a broader political climate involving challenges to transgender rights, including efforts by Congress to restrict the use of female restrooms by the first transgender lawmaker in her new workplace.

According to reports, state officials have indicated that transgender service members will be discharged on medical grounds, deeming them "unfit" to serve. This follows a similar policy introduced by Trump during his first administration, which banned transgender individuals from joining the military, though those already enlisted were allowed to remain.
