Salako explained that after 13 years of marriage without biological children, he and Foluke discussed the need to secure his legacy. “It took me three years of asking Foluke to allow me to have at least one or two children here in Nigeria to secure my old age, as I am not infertile,” he shared. “I’m over 50, and I don’t want to turn 70 without children around me. We’ve been together for over 13 years, but we haven’t had a child. She understood this after a while and gave her blessing.”
The union has since welcomed a daughter, Murewa Omowonuola Salako, as a result of this mutual understanding. Salako married Foluke in 2010, and the news of his second marriage and child with Oluwafunke Oyegoke-Salako has been a topic of conversation since 2023.
