Apostle Johnson Suleman has responded to actress Halima Abubakar's public apology, stressing that forgiveness doesn't erase the memory of past wrongs. Taking to the social media platform X, Suleman posted: "Forgiveness is not memory loss! Status quo maintained! AJS," while urging people to stop contacting him about the matter.

Halima Abubakar had previously made false accusations against the popular cleric, which she retracts in an apology letter dated October 5, 2024. In the letter, she expressed sincere regret for her actions and acknowledged the hurt caused to Suleman, his family, and his ministry.
