Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, has called on the younger generation to remain steadfast and not lose hope in Nigeria.

In a message shared via his official X handle on Sunday, Obi addressed young Nigerians at the social media Fest (SMFest) event in Owerri. SMFest is a platform that educates its audience on harnessing the power of technology, social media, and innovation to grow businesses, brands, and causes. The event provides valuable insights, ideas, and exposure on how to maximize the opportunities digitalization offers.

Acknowledging the difficulties Nigeria is currently facing, the former Anambra State Governor urged the youth to be patient and resilient. He emphasized that success comes to those who persevere, even in trying times.

"Yes, Nigeria is going through tough times, but those of us who are older find strength in the passion of the younger generation," Obi tweeted.

He continued, "Don’t give up! Whether it’s in business, skills development, education, or politics, keep pushing forward! Life will throw obstacles your way, but stand firm. If you need to, step back, rethink your strategy, evolve, and return even stronger."

Obi's message aims to inspire hope and determination among Nigeria's youth as they navigate the country's current challenges.
