Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is set to welcome Bukayo Saka and Riccardo Calafiori back for their Champions League clash against Atalanta on Thursday. The Gunners kick off their European campaign against the reigning Europa League champions.

Arteta’s side has been in excellent form this season, recently securing a 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby. Despite missing key players like captain Martin Odegaard and midfielder Declan Rice, Arsenal managed to take all three points.

Odegaard remains sidelined due to an ankle injury, but Rice will return to the squad after serving a one-match domestic suspension. Calafiori appears ready to make his return, having been spotted in training on Tuesday morning, while Saka has recovered from the knock that forced him off late in the game against Spurs.
