A Nigerian Air Force helicopter has reportedly crashed in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. This area is close to the headquarters of the Nigerian Airforce Air Training Centre in Mando, Igabi Local Government Area.

Although the Nigerian Airforce has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident, locals informed that the helicopter crashed early Monday morning in Taimi village, near Rigachikun.

In response to the crash, a team of Airforce personnel from the Nigerian Airforce Air Training Centre and 401 Flying School has cordoned off the scene to secure the area for emergency rescue operations and to investigate the cause of the crash.
