According to British media sources, Chelsea is reportedly in discussions to appoint Leicester City’s Enzo Maresca as their new head coach.

The Italian, who previously served as Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City, has successfully guided Leicester back to the Premier League after their relegation a year ago.

 Maresca’s football style has caught the attention of Chelsea executives, with Sky Sports reporting on Monday that the Blues have requested permission from Leicester to speak directly with Maresca, who is considered Chelsea’s top choice. This move comes as Chelsea seeks a new manager following their split with Mauricio Pochettino.
