The Third Mainland Bridge is set for a temporary closure, as announced by the Federal Ministry of Works. Starting from 12 noon on February 28 to 12 noon on February 29, 2024, both carriageways of the bridge will be inaccessible to facilitate crucial rehabilitation work.

The closure aims to allow the contractor to address a significant phase of the ongoing repairs. Motorists are urged to seek alternative routes during this 24-hour period and cooperate with traffic management officials for a smooth flow.
