Asisat Oshoala is in contention for a record-breaking sixth African Women’s Footballer of the Year title.
The Barcelona Femeni star is one of 30 players shortlisted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the honor.
On Tuesday, CAF revealed the nominees via their official X handle.
Oshoala earned the title for the fifth time last year. She is the only African female footballer to have done so.
The renowned award was previously received by the 29-year-old in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2022.
