In addition to requesting full custody of their infant son, American actress and singer Keke Palmer filed for a restraining order against her baby daddy, Darius Jackson.
The singer and actress said that her son’s father had been accused of physical abuse on multiple occasions. “Unhinged, volatile, and dangerous to both me and our son,” she claimed Jackson had been, abusing her both physically and emotionally.

Keke described in great detail the abuse she endured, including being hit in front of their son, having her personal belongings destroyed, being thrown out of her car, being threatened with suicide if she left him, and other acts of physical and psychological abuse.

“He trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me – lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police,” she testified in the documents

The actress emphasized that Jackson had mistreated her multiple times in the previous two years, with the most recent incident being only last weekend. Palmer supplied security camera video stills as evidence in addition to the court-filed documents; they have now been uploaded to the internet.

The reason Palmer filed for full custody without visiting rights was that “Darius has already exhibited regarding his temper in front of our son.” Palmer also asked that Jackson keep at least 100 yards between her and her eight-month-old son. She made it clear that she does not need him to pay child support.

According to the court filings, she also requested that Jackson be prevented “from harassing me by publicly commenting about me, my family, and/or our son online” and that he attend a 52-week program for batterers.

The singer emphasized that, especially in light of the internet controversy that followed her attendance at Usher’s concert, her kid gave her the courage to stop their relationship.
