The Imo Elders Council has condemned Labour for its protest at the Abuja airport yesterday, sayin there should be consequences for the action of the Organized Labour in Imo State.

Speaking at a press briefing the council described the protest as “unprecedented in the history of the world”,

The elders berated Labour for denying the people and businesses electricity and air travel but noted that there are alternatives to addressing grievances.

They said Labour should not constitute a crisis in Imo State, adding that their actions will not affect the election because Imo people are ready.
