In a recent development, a Magistrate's Court in Yaba, Lagos State, granted singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, bail in the sum of N20 million with three responsible sureties.

Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and two others were arraigned and remanded on October 6 in connection with the circumstances surrounding the death of the musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad.

Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ruled that the defendants must surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, as part of the bail conditions.

Additionally, she warned against anyone contacting her directly regarding the case, emphasizing that such communications would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.
