Ekiti-born Chef Damilola Adeparusi, also known as Chef Dammy, faces a N20 million lawsuit from her pastor over recent public disputes and concerns about her safety.

This legal action stems from their public disagreements, which led Chef Dammy to express apprehensions about potential threats to her life.

Notably, Chef Dammy had previously disclosed certain details about the pastor, including his sponsorship of her Cook-a-Thon event, aimed at surpassing Hilda Baci's achievements. In a recent social media post, she raised safety concerns and cautioned that her pastor should be held accountable if harm would befall her.

In an unexpected turn of events, Prophet Jeremiah Adegoke, the founder of Spirit World Global Mission, initiated legal proceedings against Chef Dammy.

In a petition filed by his legal representatives, the pastor expressed his astonishment at what he perceived as a defamatory statement made by the chef. He has formally requested a retraction of the defamatory statement and is seeking compensation of twenty million naira (20,000,000) for damages.
