President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Olasupo Olusi as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry (BOI).

The appointment, which is for a term of four years in the first instance, was made known by Presidential Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement.

Ngelale said Tinubu’s approval of Olusi’s appointment followed the voluntary resignation of the former BOI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Olukayode Pitan.

In a separate statement, the President also approved the appointment of eight new Chief Executive Officers for Parastatals and Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

They are Lanre Issa-Onilu, Director General/CEO (National Orientation Agency (NOA)), Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos, the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Dr. Muhammed Bulama, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) and Charles Ebuebu, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) among others.

Their appointments take immediate effect.
