The first leg of the second-round fixture will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Wednesday, 25th October, with the return leg scheduled for Nigeria on Tuesday, 31st October. Ethiopia earned their spot in this round by eliminating Chad, while the nine-time African champions, Nigeria, received a bye.
