Renowned Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo has taken decisive action against an unidentified individual who pirated his recently released Yoruba movie, 'Jagun-Jagun'.

Femi Adebayo shared visuals of the arrest on his official Instagram page and informed his followers that several other individuals implicated in the piracy have also been apprehended.

In his post, he underscored the gravity of piracy as a criminal offense that poses a significant threat to the very essence of the creative industry. Adebayo's heartfelt message read, "URGENT: Anti-Piracy Warning. Piracy is a criminal act that threatens the very essence of our creative industry. Persons have already begun pirating this labour of love."

He further disclosed the ongoing efforts to identify and hold accountable all those involved in the piracy ring. Adebayo stated, "Some have been apprehended like in the photo, and we are relentlessly pursuing others and bringing them to book. Our search includes persons downloading the movie from unauthorized sites, including telegram groups."

During a recent interview, Femi Adebayo openly shared that he had sold some of his personal properties to finance the production of 'Jagun-Jagun'. The movie, a multi-million Naira project, reflects his dedication to the craft and his determination to deliver quality content to his audience while combating the piracy threat that jeopardizes the industry's growth.
