Senate President Godswill Akpabio's unintentional announcement of holiday allowances for senators during a live TV broadcast has ignited a wave of diverse opinions.

Akpabio informed senators that the National Assembly's clerk would transfer funds to their bank accounts to facilitate their vacation.
