In a significant development, USA forward Christian Pulisic is on the verge of finalizing a £20m transfer from Chelsea to AC Milan.
Pulisic, aged 24, has found himself surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge and is scheduled to undergo a medical examination in Milan later this week.
The talented player originally joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 for a fee of £57.6m, which made him the most expensive North American player at the time.
During his tenure at Chelsea, Pulisic showcased his skills and netted 26 goals in 145 appearances. He notably played a crucial role in Chelsea's triumph over Manchester City in the 2021 Champions League final.
His imminent move to Serie A will reunite him with former Chelsea teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who also recently joined Milan during this summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana, aged 20, has sealed a season-long loan switch to Union Berlin in the Bundesliga. The Ivorian forward had made only four first-team appearances for Chelsea since his arrival from Molde in January.
This summer has seen Chelsea part ways with several established first-team players, indicating a period of transition and new opportunities for both incoming and outgoing talents.
