In a series of tweets, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State took to social media to acknowledge and celebrate the remarkable achievements of students in the state's educational institutions.

Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted the core values of hard work, dedication, and excellence that are deeply cherished in Lagos.

Starting off his message, the governor extended his heartfelt congratulations to Aminat Yusuf, a law student at Lagos State University (LASU), for her extraordinary accomplishment.

Aminat Yusuf has etched her name in history by becoming the first undergraduate in 40 years to achieve a perfect Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.0.

 

Her exceptional feat has garnered immense praise from the academic community and beyond. Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his deep admiration for Aminat's unwavering commitment and emphasized that her diligence has yielded remarkable results.

Furthermore, Governor Sanwo-Olu shared his exhilaration regarding the outstanding academic performances of 282 students who attained first-class honors in the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 academic sessions.

These exceptional individuals have demonstrated their exceptional abilities and dedication to excellence, bringing pride not only to themselves but also to Lagos State.
