June 15, 2023 King Saheed Osupa Expresses Gratitude to Burna Boy for Acknowledging His Music

Fuji music, an indigenous genre originating from the southwestern region of Nigeria, has captivated audiences for decades and has transcended borders, gaining international recognition.

Among the iconic figures in the history of Fuji music is King Saheed Osupa, whose music has left an indelible mark on multiple generations.

Recently, Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy showered praise on Saheed Osupa during an Instagram live session hosted by one of Burna Boy's associates.

In the video, Burna Boy sang lines from the renowned American hip-hop group Wu Tang Clan before urging those unfamiliar with their music to listen to Saheed Osupa, whom he aptly dubbed the "Yoruba Wu Tang."

In response to Burna Boy's recognition, Saheed Osupa took to his Instagram page to express his heartfelt appreciation. He thanked Burna Boy for the acknowledgment and embraced the moniker given to him.

Furthermore, Saheed Osupa encouraged Burna Boy to continue pushing Afrobeats to new heights, recognizing his groundbreaking achievements in the industry.
