As the defending champions, PSG currently sits six points ahead of second-placed Lens, with a superior goal difference. They only need to secure one point from their remaining two games to secure the championship.

Star striker Mbappe wasted no time making an impact, scoring twice within the first eight minutes of the match for the visitors.

Although Lassine Sinayoko responded with a goal for Auxerre, their relegation concerns continue.

With this victory, Christophe Galtier's PSG will secure the title if they avoid defeat in their upcoming match against Racing Strasbourg next Saturday.

Mbappe, 24, has been in exceptional form this season, scoring 40 goals and providing nine assists in 41 games. Notably, he has been involved in 33 goals in 32 Ligue 1 matches.

The French international showcased his exceptional skills by displaying impressive footwork in the box to create space for the opening goal, followed by a sublime first-time strike just minutes later.

PSG, having already won eight of the past 10 Ligue 1 titles, equalled the all-time record of 10 French titles set by Marseille and Saint-Etienne last season.
