Mercy Johnson, an actress, and mother of four have said that veteran actress Patience Ozokwor once gave her the advice to cease dressing indecently.

On this week's episode of Mercy's Menu, the actress asked the actor, "Do you remember when you were younger before you were married when I warned you that the images you take now, your children would see them tomorrow and instantly know the sort of lifestyle you lived" as she reflected on the past.

"Yeah you did, Mercy dress appropriately. You will have kids and as they grow up, they will question you, why are you looking this way, yes I remember, I'm fortunate but I still learned the hard way, truly," Mercy Johnson said in response to the comment.

Also during their conversation, Patience Ozokwor revealed why she didn’t marry after she lost her husband years ago

“I wanted to remarry but my kids had already come of age and they pleaded with me not to marry another man and they promised they will be my husband. They asked me to stay single for them so their friends will not laugh at them that at their age their mum remarried and I understood them, though it was selfish of them, I paid a huge sacrifice for them, no sacrifice is too huge for family.”

Patience Ozokwor further spilled why she stopped wearing jewelry and makeup.

“It was my son God used for me, he had a dream twice of me with my natural face and hair on and God told him, he preferred me looking that way than when I use makeup and accessories, by the third time he had the dream, I just knew this is it, I had to stop “

It would be recalled that years back, precisely in 2010, Mercy Johnson and Patience Ozokwor had a clash over her way of dressing.

In a telephone interview, Mercy recounted her side of the story to NET. She noted that Patience Ozokwor was given revealing clothes to wear at that location, which appears to depict a character in the movie that was in the making and Patience allegedly refused the outfit, stating that she is not Mercy Johnson, not an ‘ashawo’.

“I’m not a prostitute. I don’t like the name. I told her I didn’t like it”, Mercy told NET. According to her, the faceoff escalated when Mama Gee refused to stop calling her by an unpleasant name
