The BBNaija star was recently trending because of claims that he had signed with EME. In a video, singer Banky W dispelled internet reports that he signed Whitemoney to Empire Mates Entertainment.
In an interview with a radio station, he recently disputed the accusations, stating unequivocally that he did not sign the reality TV celebrity.
According to the singer, EME changed from a record label to a media and marketing organization in 2017. He stated that he just supported Whitemoney in securing an ambassadorial relationship with a company that it advises.
Banky stressed that the arrangement was just for an influencer campaign for one of the corporate firms with which EME collaborates.
Recall that a few weeks ago, various reports surfaced that Whitemoney had been signed as an artist to the EME record label, run by Banky W, as a consequence of a tweet Whitemoney sent.
Because of the ambiguity of the caption, many people mistook it for the musician being signed by the record company.
"Let the music play now that we're in excellent hands. The release date for EGWU & YOU BAD is September 23, 22. Are You Prepared??? ", he said on Twitter.
Whitemoney has released four singles since winning Big Brother Naija, the most recent being Egwu & You Bad.
